NASHVILLE - Bessie Louise Richardson Ellis, 90, died on Sunday, January 19, 2020.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. from the Philadelphia Baptist Church in Nashville with Rev. Gregory L. Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Church Cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Ellis and his wife, Gwendolyn, of Fuquay-Varina, Steven Ellis and his wife, Donna, of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Helen Mitchell of Philadelphia, PA, Mavis Rodriguez of Nashville; one brother Stanford Richardson of Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
