Tyrone "Big Man" Alston, 59, died on Sunday, January 5, 2020.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister with Pastor Linda Taybron officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Pearlene Alston of the home; one daughter, Taneshia Manley and her husband, Luther, of Enfield; two sons, Sharodd Alston and his wife, Kimberly of Enfield, Deon Alston and his wife, Ramona, of Rocky Mount, NC; his parents, Lawrence and Ida Alston of Enfield; two sisters, Susie Richardson (and her husband, James, of Enfield, Katrina Alston Hall and her husband, Tony, of Whitakers; four brothers, Rev. Chris Alston and his wife, Theresa, of Fort Worth, TX, Lawrence Alston of Enfield, Mike Alston of Wilson, Johnnie Alston and his wife, Bertha, of Nashville; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
