Danny Wayne Wood, 71, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020. He was born in Nash County May 20, 1948 to the late Charlie Bean and Opal Ezzell Wood.

He is survived by Jo Anne Carpenter Wood; sons Dan Wood (Beth), Kenny Wood (Crystal), Chris Wood (Ann); eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister Jane Todd Braddy.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 6 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Carpenter officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
