NASHVILLE - Kathlyn McDaniel Morris, age 94, known as Kitty by most, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019. Born in Woodland, NC on October 14, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Paul McDaniel and Ellen Parker McDaniel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Julius Willard Morris; son, Donald Jay Morris; brother, James Robert McDaniel; and sister, Dorothy McDaniel Hellen.

She is survived by her son, John Paul Morris of Nashville; daughter, Linda Morris Land and husband, Thomas Joseph Land, of Cary; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Nashville Baptist Church. A Graveside Service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Byrd officiating.
