Samuel Thomas Alston, 96, of Bellport, NY, formerly of Warren County, died on Sunday, October 13, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in the Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Nashville.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Velmarie Arrington Alston, of the home; a sister, Mary Moore, of Jamaica, NY; one granddaughter; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26 from 2 until 3 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
