Betty Jean Sykes Boone, 84, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019. She was born March 8, 1935 in Nash County to the late Elmo and Lula Shearin Sykes.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years Roscoe Boone; sisters Elizabeth Manning, Judy Matthews and husband Luther Jr.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
