ROCKY MOUNT - Robert "Robbie" Ray Davis, Jr., age 53, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2019. Born in Nash County on February 2, 1966, he was the son of the late Robert Ray Davis, Sr. and Elmyra Walton Davis. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Donna Starling Davis; and son, Christopher Starling Wheeler and wife, Ashley, of Nashville; one grandchild.

Services will be held Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Englewood Baptist Church, 1350 S. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, with the Pastor Charles Taylor officiating. A visitation will follow the service until 1 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Englewood Baptist Church.
