ROCKY MOUNT - Robert Earl Weeks, Sr., age 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Born in Wilson County on August 1, 1933, as the fifth of six children to John Silas Weeks and Edna Crumpler Weeks. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Joe Weeks and John Weeks; sisters, Martha Gupton and Mary Moore; and his grandson, Jon Eric Weeks.

He is survived by his sons, Robert E. Weeks, Jr., Daniel W. Weeks and wife, Angela, of Nashville, Michael A. Weeks and wife, Poppie, and daughter, Cynthia Weeks Skinner and husband, David; one grandchild; brother, Linwood Weeks and wife, Mary Alice, of Rocky Mount.

Services will be held Monday, August 19, 2019 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Ben Tugwell officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
