BAILEY - Odell McKeel, 85, of Bailey passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019. Services were held Sunday, August 4 at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment followed in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Rev. Joseph Leonard and Rev. Ronny Aycock officiated.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Shelby Bissette McKeel of the home; daughter, Pam Taylor; son, Ricky McKeel and wife, Jill; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Sherman and husband, Horace and his brother, James McKeel and wife, Jean.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Irene Taylor McKeel; sister, Catherine Bissette and his brother, Clifton McKeel.
