Robert "Mr. Robert" Richardson, 88, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from Pine Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister with Pastor Robert Hedgepeth officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Chapel Memorial Garden Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Richardson of Rocky Mount; one daughter, Doris Hawkins and her husband, Ollie of Scotch Plains, NJ; three sons, Donell Richardson of Rocky Mount, Jerry Richardson and his wife, Jelinda and Michael Richardson and his wife, Paula, both of Raleigh; one sister, Ava Lynch and her husband, Charles of Whitakers; one brother, Clinton Richardson and his wife, Barbara of Rocky Mount; and four grandchildren.
