Vickey "Goat" Lee Denton, 63, passed away July 10, 2019. He was born in Edgecombe County to the late Otis and Gladys Denton. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Denton; brothers, Carlton, James, Vincent and Otis Denton Jr.; sisters, Sara Peaden and Betty Rogers; brother in laws Amos Peaden and Roy Tucker.

He is survived by his daughters, Joni Adcock (Allen) and Kimberly Denton; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister Lou Tucker; sister in laws, Bonnie and Frances Denton, Vickie Denton.

A visitation with family and friends will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Tabernacle of Praise, Nashville. The memorial service will follow at 2 pm with Rev. Ray Vick officiating.
