NASHVILLE - Nello T. Moody, 52, passed away Friday, July 11, 2008.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. Dr. Tyrone Jones will be officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Christine R. Moody of the home; two daughters, Patrice Richardson and Fredia Richardson both of Nashville; eight sons, Nello Custalow and LeMont Casey, both of Rocky Mount, Derick Custalow, of Virginia, Toby Leonard, of Raleigh, Andre’ Richardson and Anthony Richardson, both of Nashville, Trexe Howell, of Newark, NJ, DxTillery Houston, of Homestead, FL, four sisters, Susan Heat, of Phoenix, AZ, Carolina Battle, of Rocky Mount, Corine Nelson, of Raleigh and Hazel Davis, of Fayetteville; and sixteen grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m.
