NASHVILLE – Constance “Denise” Stokes White, 42, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2008. She was born August 28, 1965 at Nash General Hospital to Gertie Ann Stokes.

Services were held on July 6, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, at 904 S. Alston Street in Nashville with Pastor and Eulogist Dr. Tyrone P. Jones, III.

Survivors include: her husband, William White of Nashville; four children, Tibennisea Stokes of Illinois, Angela R. Powell of New York and Quianna and Deshon White of the home; her mother, Gertie Stokes of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Rene (Lee) Mercer of Tacoma, Washington and Pam Harvey of Rocky Mount and one brother, Wayne Lucas of Rocky Mount.

Professional services were entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home, 805 E. Nash Street, Wilson.
