Alma Silver Person, 86, of Springfield Gardens, NY and formerly of Franklin County, died on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 1 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister with Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Gloria Lloyd of Jamaica, NY, Phyllis Atkins and Evelyn Person, both of St. Albans, NY; two sons, Claude and Melvin Person, both of Jamaica, NY; three sisters, Ruby Alston (Sidney) of Whitakers, NC, Nancy Pulley (Russell) of Nashville, NC, Lusella Hargrove (Otis) of Elm City, NC; one brother, Andrew Silver (Betty) of Warrenton, NC; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday afternoon from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister.
