Joe Woodard, 88, passed away on April 15, 2019. He was the widower of Sue Woodard. They shared 56 years of marriage together.

Born in Kenly he was the son of Elijah and Nancy Woodard.

He is survived by his long-time companion and friend, Ms. Fan Whitley; his son Paul, and Paul's wife Natalie; three grandchildren,.

Services were held on Friday, April 19, at First Baptist Church in Spring Hope.
