ROCKY MOUNT - William "Bill" Calvin Kirkwood, 94, passed away March 8, 2019. He was born July 4, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA.

He is preceaded in death by his wife of 67 year, Sally Kirkwood.

He is survived by his son, Gary Kirkwood and wife Nancy; daughter Laurie Ezzell and husband John Ezzell; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

A private service for immediate family will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd in the Columbarium on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 with Rev. Matthew Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd (Outreach Commission) or the Wounded Warriors Project.
