CASTALIA - Ray Anstead, 54, passed away Friday, June 20, 2008. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Malissa Anstead, of the home, Rayshonda Anstead, of Battleboro and Jameco Yancey, of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Ozette Anstead, of Castalia and Mary Wiggins, of Nashville; one brother, Jasper Anstead, of Durham; and 2 grandchildren.

Wake services were held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Monday, June 23, 2008 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
