ROCKY MOUNT - Edward "Ed" Charles Shaffer, Sr., age 70, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019. He was the son of the late Lambert Shaffer and Emma Danyi Shaffer. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Shaffer.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Beth Eken Shaffer; son, Edward "Ed" Charles Shaffer, Jr. and wife, Joyce Robey; and daughter, Heather Roberts and husband, Marty; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildrent.
