Bettie Ruth Ezzell, 93, passed away February 19, 2019. She was born April 8, 1925 in Nash County to the late Archel Bollie Cockrell and Lue Lindsey Cockrell. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Clady D. Cockrell, Johnie Clearance Cockrell, Oretha Lee Cockrell Parker, Samuel Archel Cockrell, Bollie Randolph Cockrell and Sarah Blanch Cockrell Parker; son Ronald Wayne Ezzell; grand-daughter, Lisa Michelle Ezzell.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons Michael Ezzell and Jerry Ezzell (Beth); grandchildren, Stacie Langley (Willie), Jerry Ezzell, Jr. (Jessie), Heather Honea and Michael Ezzell Jr. (Heather); great grandchildren, Lacey, Leah, Jenna, Peyton, Tate, Jacob and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, February 22, 2019 from 1:00-2:45 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with graveside service to be held 3:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Loraine Thorne officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kingdom International (Taylor's Chapel) 1933 Sandy Cross Rd. Nashville, NC 27856.
