ROCKY MOUNT - Bobby R. Jackson, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Born in Rutherford County, NC on October 18, 1934, he was the son of the late Howard Curtis Jackson and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Bradley Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lula Frances Peedin Jackson; daughter-in-law, Shelley Ann Thomas Jackson; brother, Billy Joe Jackson; and sister, Margaret Glenda Jackson.

He is survived by his son, John Jeffrey Jackson of Rocky Mount; one grandchild; brother, Paul Alton Jackson of Whiteville; sister, Fannie Doris Williamson and husband, Robert, of High Point; special friend, Shirley Sellers of Pine Level; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 10 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
