Kathy Gurganus Reams, passed away January 26, 2019. She was born in Nash County to the late Eulis Ward Gurganus and Dorothy May Hughes Gurganus.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Don Reams; son, Michael Lee Anthony Reams (Ashley); daughter, Tamyra Katherine Porter (Chad); six grandchildren; brother, E.W. Gurganus Jr. (Barbara); sisters, Jean Farmer (Sam), Debbie Williams (Dennis) and Wanda Reams (John).

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Williams officiating. The visitation will be held at 10 a.m. prior to the service. Graveside service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southside Baptist Church or Englewood Baptist Church with the funds being designated to the Childrens' Ministries or the Vacation Bible School programs.
