Donald "Dick" Pettigrue Crickmore, 80, passed away January 9, 2019. He was born July 22, 1938 to the late Percy Lee and Kathleen Denton Crickmore. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Kim Crickmore; grandson Patrick Armstrong; granddaughter Emily Rodgers; brothers, George and Jack Crickmore; sisters,Vivian Crickmore and Edna Farmer and lifelong friends Buddy Shearin and Billy Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Linda Crickmore; sons, Donald P. Crickmore, Jr. (Wade), Thomas L. Crickmore (Stacey); daughters, Sharon C. Blake, Kathy C. Mumford (Andy); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia Braswell, Dorothy Griffin and Mary Williams;.

A visitation will be held 5 7 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Wendy Edwards and Pastor Stanley Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
