Troy Beatrice Davis, 74, passed away January 7, 2019. He was born in Edgecombe County to the late Troy B. Davis Sr. and Mary Barnes Davis. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by hs wife Linda Davis and a sister Judy Davis Shearin.
He is survived by his sons, Troy B. Davis III and fiance Penny Anderson, Jason Davis, James Crocker and William Kenneth Ferrell; daughter Nancy Rose (Scott) and Lynn Corbett; former daughter-in-law Joy Crocker; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Inez Sykes and JoAnn Barber (Stoney).
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on January 12, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with the service following at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jerome Mozingo officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will meet other times at the home.
