NASHVILLE - Kathryn Pittman Strum, 73, of Nashville died on June 15, 2008. She was born in Durham, to Gurney Luther Pittman and Eula Mae Stancil Pittman on November 28, 1934. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Strum, of Nashville; one son, Donald Strum and wife, Peggy of Newport, PA; daughters, Terri Rackley and husband, Tim of Rocky Mount, Lisa Allen and husband, Monty of Selma; three grandsons; one granddaughter; one sister, Yvonne Wilson and husband, Oscar of Fayetteville; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Friends of Hospice, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.

A funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Wheeler & Woodleif Funeral Home with Rev. Luis Reinoso officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
