Peggy Davis Mooring, 82, of Middlesex passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018. Her funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 2 at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Phil Hawley and Rev. Jeff Dail will officiate.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of her son, Kevin.

She is survived by her sons, Rev. Kevin Mooring and wife, Amy of Pikeville and Frank Mooring and wife, Gaby of Mexico; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Elmer R. Mooring; parents, Frank Rgo and Gertrude Minshew Davis, and her siblings, Lois Norman, Hazel Waddell, Lawton Davis, Norwood Davis and Thurman Davis.
