Survivors include a son, Kendra Hunter and his wife, Earlene; mother, Carrie Alston; sisters, Peggy Taybron, Janet Gail Macon, Lisa Ross and Carol Ann Alston; brothers, Ollie Alston, Jr., Carl Lee Alston and Willie Alston.
