George Wilbur Hawkins Jr., 87, passed away November 29, 2018. He was born May 25, 1931 to the late George Wilbur Hawkins and Rubie Carter Hawkins.

He is survived by his wife Lue Cates Hawkins; sons George Wilbur Hawkins III and Gregory Wright Hawkins (Kim); daughter Geordana H. Gantman(Russell); three grandchildren; brother Charles A. Hawkins; sister Hulda Wood; one nephew; two nieces.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with the visitation being held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
