BLOWING ROCK NC - Benjamin Cody Floyd passed away Sunday November 11, 2018 at the age of 91. He was born on October 12, 1927 in Nashville. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Frances Boone

He is survived by his son, Ben and partner Lisa from Boone; sister-in-law Peggy and husband Craven Malpass; brother-in-law Frank Boone and wife Mary, as well as many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Visitation will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. A graveside service will be held afterwards at 3:00 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville. Memorial donations may be made to the Watauga Humane Society in Boone, NC, or the charity of your choice.
