NEW BERN - Michael Anderson Boykin, age 71, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018. Born in Nash County on September 14, 1947, he was the son of the late Anderson and Clarie Boykin. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Boykin Bottoms.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Wooten Boykin; daughters, Kristy Michelle Boykin and Kelly Boykin Martin.one grandson; sister, JoAnne Boykin Hodges (Jimmy).

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home with the visitation following the service.
