ROCKY MOUNT - MerriAnne Cartee Brantley, age 52, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. MerriAnne was born in Nash County on March 25, 1966. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Cartee; sisters, Betina Blanford and TeAnna Cartee; aunts, Patsy Bean, Peggy Groce, and Shirley Boyce.
She is survived by her daughter, ChristiAnna Brantley; husband, Christopher Brantley; father, William "Ed" Cartee; brother-in-law, Kim Blanford.
A memorial visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
