ROCKY MOUNT - Ruth Holland Pridgen, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Born in Nash County on December 5, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Ira Clement Holland and Sadie Williams Holland. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Redmond "Red" Gray Pridgen; and daughter, Brenda Phyllis Moss.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Bieber and husband, Bruce; one grandchild.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
