BOYDTON, VA - Eunice Joyner Pridgen, age 95, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018. Born in Nash County on September 4, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alford Joyner of Rocky Mount. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. Pridgen; son, Clyde E. Pridgen, II; and daughter-in-law, Anne Pridgen.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Travis (William E. Travis) of Boydton, VA; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Wilson with Rev. Mary Todd, Pastor of Morton's Memorial Presbyterian Church in Rocky Mount and Pastor Charles Davis of Bethesda Baptist Church in Palmer Springs, VA officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
