Linwood Frank Brown, age 92, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018. Born in Edgecombe County on September 14, 1926, he was the son of the late Henry Frank Brown and Bessie Jobe Brown. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Inez Williams Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Ruth Joyner Brown; son, Ray Brown and wife, Sharon; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Irene Johnson and Mary Boehm and husband Jim.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
