Jimmie Bruce Carter, 80, passed away October 6, 2018. He was born January 12, 1938 in Wilson County to the late James and Mamie Turner Carter. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers; Harper, Roy, and Bill Carter; sister, Edna Lamm.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 52 years Faye Joyner Carter; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Knapp (Travis); three grandchildren,; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Coggin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
