David Keith Jackson, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Born in Nash County on September 11, 1968, he was the son of the late Wilbur Eugene "Cornbread" Jackson and Violet Hunt Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his son, David Keith Jackson, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 9 ½ years, Lysa Maedl Jackson; daughters, Leslie Jackson, Sara Jackson, Katlyn Jackson, and Samantha Jackson; one grandchild; brother, Billy Jackson; sister, Pamela Kennedy.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Rocky Mount.
