ENFIELD - Nellie Mae Jones Hudgins, age 93, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. Born in Nash County on January 10, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Luther Jones and Maggie Garris Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Alexander Hudgins, sisters, Elizabeth Tippett and Dot Ezzell; brothers, Russell, Marvin, Franklin, Junior, and William "Buddy" Jones, twin brother; and granddaughter, April S. Henderson.

She is survived by daughters, Donna Sue Hudgins and Nellie "Bonnie" S. Inscoe and husband, Donald; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Gertrude Light and Eunice Finch; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, 23 Justice Branch Road, Enfield.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
