COLUMBIA, SC - Reginald Sebastian Barnes, Sr., aka "Reggie" and "Bass," was born on July 24, 1965, to the late William Thomas and Geraldine Lewis Barnes. He passed away September 3, 2018 in Columbia, South Carolina.

Reggie was preceded in death by his sister, Wilma Davonya Barnes, in 2017.

He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Barnes of Mebane, NC; son, Reginald Barnes, Jr. of Columbia, SC; one grandchild; siblings, Tonya "Peaches" Davis and Deborah (Raymond) Moss of Pinetops, William Sherrod Barnes of Brooklyn, NY, Lisa (Bobby) Barnes of Wilson and Wanda Barnes of Rocky Mount; several aunts, ungles, nieces and nephews.

Services were held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Red Budd Holy Church, Rocky Mount. The Interment followed in Gardens of Gethsemane in Rocky Mount.
