WHITAKERS - Henry Allen Carter, 71, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister with Rev. Linda Taybron officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lynch Carter, of the home; two daughters, Rita Carter, of Garner and Christy Lane and her husband, Jason, of Durham; two sons, Greg Carter and his wife, Christy, of Clayton and Terence Carter, of Sharpsburg; one sister, Lizzie Beth Kearney, of Enfield; and 12 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, August 29 from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
