Mary Elizabeth Lamm, 81, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018. She was born September 26, 1936 in Nash County to the late Otha and Minnie Thornell Davis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands, James Gupton and William Lamm; sister, Mildred Bunch; two brothers, Guy and Clyde Davis.

She is survived by one son, Jeffrey Gupton; daughter, Wanda Blizzard (Danny); brother, Thomas Davis; sisters, Nellie Ford, Faye Bone (Royce) and Linda Vick (Donnie); three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Monday, August 27, 2018 at 7 p.m. Southside Baptist Church with Pastor C.J. Cauble officiating. Visitation with family and friends will follow the service.
