CASTALIA - Hattie Pearl Thorne, age 69, passed away May 18, 2008.

Survivors include her husband, Earlie Ray Thorne of the home; three daughters, Alice Horne of Norlina, Leslie Mae Rogers and Gloria Yarborough, both of Louisburg; two sons, Tony Thorne of Nashville and Dan Thorne of the home; mother, Mary Francis Richardson of Nashville; six sisters, Barbara Hargrove and Mary Richardson, both of Nashville, Loretta Richardson of Newark, NJ, Margaret Islam of Bradenton, FL and Connie Porter and Debra Wardrick, both of Charlotte; nine brothers, West Alston, Woodrow Richardson Jr., Elsie Richardson, Clifton Richardson and Maurice Richardson, all of Nashville, Charlie Richardson of Newport News, VA, MacArthur Richardson of Valdosta, GA, James Earl Richardson of Bailey and Calvin Richardson of Kinston; seven granchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Friday, May 23, 2008 from the Life Outreach Ministries. Burial followed in the Thorne Family cemetary.

Wake services were held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Thursday, May 22.
