BATTLEBORO - Florene Maynard Robertson, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Born in Nash County, on February 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Silas T. Maynard and Emma Boardsworth. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Louis "Mickey" McLeon Radford, Linwood Walker, and Dr. Leon Robertson; sisters, Eva Collie Bryant and Elizabeth Rowe Nines; brothers, William Maynard and Frank Maynard; daughter, Edith Helen Radford Joyner; son-in-law, Gerald Joyner; and grandchild, Dennis Joyner.

She is survived by her son, Michael Radford and wife, Brenda, of Battleboro; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at11 a.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will follow the Graveside Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Mount Baptist Church, 8487 West Mount Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
