WALDORF, MD - Charles Franklin Richardson, 80, formerly of Rocky Mount, passed away August 7, 2018. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Siddie Richardson; sister, Geraldine Williams; brothers, John Thomas and Russell Richardson.

He is survived by his daughter Jacqueline Richardson of Waldorf, Md.; sons, Charles Richardson, Jr. of Durham, James Richardson (Tonya) San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth R. Beamon of Nashville, Sarah Forbes (Moses) of Stantonsburg, and Patricia Harper (Therman) of Whitakers; five brothers, James Edward of Albemarle, Stephen (Wynell) of Nashville, Woodrow Jr. (Dora) of Schertz Texas, Jackie Ray (Eva) of Wilson, Robert Earl (Brenda) of Rocky Mount.

Visitation for Mr. Richardson will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the Funeral Service following the Visitation, beginning at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 17, 2018, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 305 Halifax Rd, in Rocky Mount, NC. The Interment will take place immediately after the service at Gardens of Gethsemane in Rocky Mount.
