ROCKY MOUNT - Margo Kennedy Moore, age 77, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018. Born in Edgecombe County, on January 20, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Reynolds Kennedy and Thelma Daughtridge Kennedy of Edgecombe County. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lemuel "Nick" Kornegay Moore; and her daughter, Susan Moore Craft.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Moore Mills and husband, Bob, of Jacksonville; and son-in-law, William Hoyt Craft, Jr. of Rocky Mount; and one brother, Thomas Kennedy and wife, Diane, of Rockingham; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous loved nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Charles Taylor officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
