Robert "Robbie" Shelton Batts, age 63, of Enfield, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018. Born in Rocky Mount on February 17, 1955, he was the son of the late Robert Junior Batts and Effie Jean Smith Batts.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pamela Holt Batts; daughter, Audrey Batts Friedrich and husband, Jason, of Rocky Mount; sons, Robert "Andy" Batts and wife, Kelly, of Rocky Mount, and Timothy Brian Batts and wife, Misty, of Norlina; eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Alvin Davis officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
