John Raymond Sturges, 69, of Battleboro passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 1st at Impact Church of Wilson, 3338 Corbett Avenue, Elm City. The family will receive friends following the service. The Rev. David List will officiate.

He is survived by his his daughters, Wendy Kiser and husband, Glenn of Waxhaw, Alecia Conlon and husband, Timothy of Waxhaw, and Kimberly Rowland of Indian Land, South Carolina; three grandchildren; his brother, Eddie Sturges; one niece and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Edna Sturges and his brother, Phillip Sturges.
