Walter Mac Evans, 63, of Hollister, died on Thursday, July 19, 2018.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Linda L. Evans; two daughters, Carla and Ashley Evans, of Hollister; a son, Shannon D. Evans, of Hollister; two sisters, Rebecca Evans, of Hollister and Peggy Battle of Rocky Mount; two brothers, Raymond Evans, of Hollister and Robert Evans of Enfield; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister.
