William "Bill" Bunn Brantley, age 70, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018. Born in Brazos County, TX on December 8, 1947, he was the son of the late William Oscar Brantley and Mavis Bunn Brantley.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Patricia "Pat" Malone Brantley; his four children, Melissa Mayberry and husband Mike, of North Augusta, SC, Amanda Turner and husband Mike, of Goldsboro, George Collins and wife Lindsey, of Jacksonville, and Richard Collins and wife Nicole, of Nakina; eight grandchildren; siblings, Beth Yoak and husband Chuck, Bob Brantley and wife Sharon, David Brantley and wife Becky; aunt, Joyce Bunn; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 505 S. Englewood Drive, Rocky Mount with Pastor Brandon Dees officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pineview Cemetery. The Family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
