James "Bud" Jones, Jr., age 93, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Born in Wilson County on November 8, 1924, he was the son of the late James O. Jones and Mary Elizabeth Jones. He was also preceded in death by his two sisters, Estelle Robbins and Eva Holliday; and two brothers, Henry Jones and Donald Ray Jones.
He is survived by three sisters, Gladys Leonard of Kinston, Ginger Collie of Kinston and Inez Walker of DeRidder, LA; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 12 noon in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
