Rose Hill set to host event

Staff Reports

NASH COUNTY -- AgCarolina Farm Credit, Cape Fear Farm Credit, and Carolina Farm Credit will be hosting the second annual Pull for Youth Sporting Clays events benefitting NC 4-H and FFA.

The festivities will feature a fun day of sporting clays shooting at one of three great courses in our state.

Participants will help Farm Credit support the future of agriculture and rebuild rural America by giving back to NC 4-H and FFA.

Lunch will be provided, and there will be plenty of great door prizes and raffles.

One of the locations for the events will be at Rose Hill Sporting Clays in Nashville on October 5.

The registration deadline will be Sept. 21.

Agriculture is the number-one industry in North Carolina.

By providing funds to NC 4-H and FFA, the Farm Credit Associations of North Carolina are working together to make sure tomorrow's leaders in agriculture have a bright future.

In their first year, the Pull for Youth Sporting Clays Events raised over $100,000 for North Carolina 4-H and FFA.

The events were made possible by the support of 150 sponsors, over 350 shooters, and 150 volunteers.

Individual shooter registrations are $100.

Pre-registration is required to participate in each of the three sporting clays events.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available and start at just $300.
