Marian Alexander Asbell, age 90, of Nashville, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018. Born in Edenton on January 9, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Jesse James Alexander and Dora Pritchett Alexander.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Asbell Keel of Rocky Mount; a son, Richard Allan Asbell and wife Paula of Nashville; three grandchildren; eight grandchildren; sister, Vivian Chappell and husband Arthur and sister in law, Helen Asbell Elliott.
Services were held Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Nashville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kenny Byrd, officiating. Burial of Cremains followed the service at Forest Hill Cemetery.
